National Healthcare Decisions Day is held annually to educate healthcare providers and the public about the importance of advance care planning for medical decisions. Advance care planning protects your right to determine the care you receive. Planning includes completing an advance directive (living will) and appointing a healthcare power of attorney. Advance care planning also means sharing this information with your loved ones to ensure that your wishes are honored.
Join members of Beebe's Palliative Care team to learn about Advanced Care Directives and strategies to effectively share your wishes with loved ones. Our team will have materials available at the event, and will be able to assist attendees in the completion of their directive.
Session times for Friday, April 17 at the South Coastal Library:
• 9 a.m. - 10 a.m.
• 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
This event is free to attend, but seating is limited. Registration is required.
