On Saturday, October 25, 2025, the Lebanon Police Department will be taking part in the Nationwide Drug Take Back Event. This event is a collaborative effort between the Drug Enforcement Administration, state, and local law enforcement agencies in an effort to remove potentially dangerous controlled substances from homes across the country. This event raises awareness of the potential hazards that exist by improper disposal of controlled substances, needles, and syringes. The public is able to turn over expired, unused, or unwanted controlled substances and other medications to law enforcement for destruction.
Lebanon Police Department will be hosting the event at the following location:
Saturday, October 25
10:00 am - 12:00 pm: Hannaford, 8 Market St., West Lebanon, NH 03784
Anyone may bring these substances and other medications to the drug collection box in the lobby. There is also a SHARPS container in the lobby for the disposal of unwanted needles and syringes. The drug collection box and SHARPS container are available to the public 24 hours a day, every day. These are available to the public for your convenience and anonymity; you are not required to speak with an Officer.
