National Day Chinese Storytelling

Celebrate Singapore’s National Day with heartwarming stories by local authors!

Come Flip for Joy with GRUB as we celebrate Singapore through captivating stories. We’ll be enjoying three delightful books and doing an air clay dessert crafts together!

1. <<慢吞吞的卡卡>> (Slowpoke Kaka) is about a slow-and-steady capybara and his energetic otter friend who learn to work together despite their completely different paces.
2. <<爸爸, 我还不想睡>>(Papa, I'm Still Not Sleepy) is about Chashao Bao, who tries everything he can to avoid bedtime, turning an ordinary night into a fun-filled adventure.
3. <<阿公心爱的工作服>> (Ah Gong's Uniform) why does Ah Gong take so long to iron his uniform? Follow our friend as she learns what it means to be proud of one’s work. See how she courageously stands up for what is right, with the help of her friends.
   

Treat the kids to a fun-filled 45-minute Chinese storytelling and craft session this National Day! While Mum & Dad sit back, relax, and enjoy a meal with a bonus $15 food credit. Storytelling begins at 3:30pm, please arrive by 3:15pm.

• Best suited for children between 4 to 9 years old.
• Tickets sold are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another participant
• This is a rain-or-shine event. Wet weather programmes will be implemented in event of heavy rain.
