National Community Psoriatic Disease Education Forum
About this Event
Overview
Join us at the first-ever Canadian National Community Psoriatic Disease Education Forum where we will bring together people with psoriatic disease, informal caregivers, healthcare professionals, students, and other members of the psoriasis community across Canada.
What to Expect:
The event will feature leading experts and patient advocates who share the latest research, treatment advancements, and lived experiences related to psoriatic disease. Educational content will also focus on hot topics that are of interest to the community – psoriatic disease in children and youth, associated conditions, and accessing care and treatment.
This forum aims to:
- Educate patients and caregivers on managing life with psoriatic disease, including updates on treatment options, coping strategies, and navigating healthcare systems.
- Create opportunities for individuals and families to connect, share experiences, and build community with others.
- Equip attendees with tools and resources to advocate for themselves and their loved ones.
Attendance Options:
A limited number of travel grants were available for patients and caregivers to cover the costs of travel to Toronto and accommodation. These have now been fulfilled
For those unable to travel to Toronto we will be offering a virtual option where we will be live streaming the sessions.
Important to know
All sessions will be held in English. If you require participation in French we encourage you to sign up to attend virtually and use the Zoom built in translation option. Alternatively, all sessions will be recorded and posted to our YouTube channel in English with french subtitles post-event.
Unfortunately we are not able to offer simultaneous translation at the in-person event.
