The Rogers Lowell Chamber is partnering with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to host a nonpartisan civics competition that encourages young Americans to engage in civics and contribute to their communities.
Participating 6th, 7th and 8th graders will flex their civics knowledge for a chance to win recognition and cash prizes. Finalists will be invited to Washington, DC to compete in the National Civics Bee® national championship in Fall 2025 for a chance to win a $100K scholarship!
HOW TO ENTER
Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade student residing in Arkansas with an idea about using civics to improve their community may submit their essay to participate in one local competition in their state.
All essays must be submitted by Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.

PRIZES
We love being a champion for civics! For this year’s competition each finalist will receive a certificate and goody bag as well as:
First Place: $500 cash prize
Second Place: $250 cash prize
Third Place: $125 cash prize
