Even though it is cold, the birds are active in the park. Some birds actually come to Seven Islands to spend the winters here and are a treat to see during the this time of year. Join Ranger Clare for a 2-3 mile hike along the ADA and Island Loop Trails to learn about the birds in the park and how to identify them.Participants are encouraged to wear good walking footwear, bring water and appropriate clothing. Binoculars and field guides are available to borrow if participants are interested, but please bring your own if you would like. Participants should plan on meeting Ranger Clare at the Bluebird Barn at the main entrance on Kelly Lane at 9:00am.
Registration is $5 per participant. Children under 5 are free with a paying adult. Pets are not allowed on programs, except service animals.
