Are you curious about what birds are hanging around Seven Islands right now? Need some help with identifying birds by sight or sound? Are you looking to get outside to enjoy some fresh air, stretch your legs, and do some birdwatching?Join Ranger Stephanie for a hike! All levels of experience welcome. These hikes are perfect opportunities for fledgling birders and seasoned bird nerds to mingle!
Terrain is mostly level to rolling. This will be an easy to moderate walk, covering an approximate 2-3 mile loop. Come prepared with good walking shoes, water, field guides, and binoculars.
Seven Islands State Birding Park has recorded over 200 species of bird. Species observed will depend on the time of year.
Meet in the main parking lot at the entrance to the park by 8:00 AM. This is a free program, but please register online so that we know how many people to expect and consider making a donation to the park.
