National Bell Ringing

Sellersville Borough will be participating in the “Let Freedom Ring” National Bell Ringing Ceremony on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. The ceremony will be held in front of the Sellersville Museum, 120 East Church Street, Sellersville, PA. The countdown for the bell ringing commemorates the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, with the ringing of bells, once for each of the original 13 founding colonies. This year is EXTRA special as it is the Semiquincentennial – America’s 250th birthday! It will also feature the beautifully redone Sellersville Museum after its renovation in late 2025. Come join us on the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence for an extra special bell ringing ceremony and historical reenactment.
