Nation of Praise: Take Back Our Youth is a night of praise, prayer, prophetic encouragement and honest conversation, calling churches, families, youth leaders, community organisations, intercessors, creatives, mentors and people of goodwill to unite around one shared burden:
Our community. Our children. Our future.
Across our communities, many are concerned about what we are seeing and feeling among young people: anti-social behaviour, unrest, fear, loss of direction, trauma, family pressure, hopelessness and a generation searching for identity, belonging and purpose.
We believe this is not a time to stand back
It is a time to pray
It is a time to gather
It is a time to partner
It is a time to stand in the gap
The scripture at the heart of this gathering is:
“The kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.”
Matthew 11:12
For us, this is not a call to physical aggression. This is a call to spiritual urgency, prayer, fasting, love and action.
We are not fighting young people
We are fighting for them

- Testimony and hope-filled moments

- A call to prayer, fasting, mentoring and partnership

This is a gathering point for people who believe our young people are worth fighting for, praying for, loving, mentoring, protecting and building with.

We are inviting churches, organisations, community groups, youth workers, schools, parents, intercessors and leaders to stand with us.

- Praying and fasting in the lead up to the event

- Supporting aftercare and follow-up
- Joining future conversations around mentoring, family support and youth engagement
