When most people think of cryptozoology, their minds often turn to famous American cryptids like Bigfoot, Mothman, or the Jersey Devil. But what many don’t realise is that the UK has its own rich and mysterious cryptid folklore — with legends stretching back centuries.
In this presentation, author and researcher Nathan Lockley will delve into the strange world of British cryptids, exploring the legends that surround these elusive creatures, examining recent sightings, and considering the possible explanations — from the mundane to the truly extraordinary. From the Beast of Bodmin and the Loch Ness Monster to lesser-known entities like Knuckers, Mermaids and Faeries. Nathan draws on years of research into Britain’s most bizarre tales in an attempt to answer one compelling question: do these creatures really exist?
Dave, James and Ian will provide the usual UFO related updates on active investigations and general news, and there will be a cryptid themed raffle with some weird and wonderful prizes.
