It's time to toss some bags for a great cause! Join us for a Fun-Filled Cornhole Tournament to support the Nathan E. Olson Memorial Scholarship. As most of you know, Nate loved cornhole, so let's get together and continue his legacy. 100% of the proceeds will be used for skilled trades scholarships through SEMCA (Southeast Michigan Construction Academy) established in Nathan's name.
There will be cash payouts for 1st-3rd place; along with amazing raffle baskets and 50/50 tickets at the event.
When: January 11, 2025- due to popular demand, we will be having 2 sessions. The first session is from 12pm-5pm and the second session is from 5pm-10pm. PLEASE NOTE, you MUST put in the notes box on Venmo your time preference. This WILL BE 1st come 1st serve. Once a session is full, it is full.
Where: Grand Blanc Lanes- address is noted above- please note the cornhole lanes are at the back of the building.
What: We will be using the Switcholio Tournament Format. This is blind draw round robin tournament in which players get a new partner for every game, and get ranked on an individual basis. You will play 5+ rounds. Boards and bags will be provided by Blue Collar Cornhole so it's a fair playing field for everyone.
Cost: There are 2 options below:
Option 1: $40/per person which includes tournament play, 2 pieces of pizza, pop, and 5 raffle tickets
Option 2: $20/per person for a bystander which includes 2 pieces of pizza, pop, and 5 raffle tickets
There will also be a full cash bar and grill, arcade, and bowling alley for your entertainment at an additional cost.
How: Register today using the Venmo link attached. Please include the registrants name(s) and phone number in the notes box. Also, please remember to specify your preferred time slot in the notes box. If you need to use another form of payment, please contact Melanie directly at 248.953.1024 or [email protected]. We will NOT be registering people at the door for the tournament.
