Nate Boots is an alt-folk singer-songwriter out of North Mankato, Minnesota, who released his third solo album {A STRETCH OF WING, A LEAP} in June of 2025. He has played with The Porchlights, Jim the Harpooner, and The High Horses, has performed his lyrically-driven music throughout the Midwest since 2013, and has been featured on Minnesota Public Radio and Radio Heartland.
Held annually in the town of St. Peter, Minnesota, the Rock Bend Folk Festival has been happening since 1991. Supported through business sponsorships, fundraisers, grants, and individual donations, festival attendance is always free. More than 10,000 attendees over the course of two days converge at Minnesota Square Park to enjoy music; delicious food; and folk artists sharing their original crafts and wears.
