A Special Note From Tyler About ‘Such A Time As This’ :
“The song originally came from the story of Esther, specifically Esther 4:14 that says “And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” Sometimes circumstances in our lives can make us question our purpose, live in fear, and cave to the voices that tell us “you’re worthless”, “you’re a mistake”. I’ve seen that in my own life and in countless others, but the truth of Scripture tells us that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made”. God made each one of us on purpose for a purpose, and we are meant to live for such a time as this. That’s ultimately my hope for listeners who hear this song. To be encouraged that God has them hear for a specific reason, even if they can’t see it yet.” - Tyler David
