Stephen Vagg is a writer and producer who has worked on such television shows as “Neighbours”, “Darby and Joan”, “Home and Away” and “Rock Island Mysteries”. He wrote and produced the feature films “All My Friends Are Back in Brisbane”, “Jucy” and “All My Friends Are Leaving Brisbane”. He as a PhD in early Australian television drama and is the author of “Rod Taylor: An Aussie in LA”. His plays have been performed around the world.
I talk about the career of Nat Cohen, who for over three decades was perhaps Britain’s greatest film mogul. He helped make scores of movies, many of them masterpieces such as “M**der on the Orient Express”, “Darling” and “Peeping Tom”. He played a key role in the career of filmmakers from David Puttnam, Tommy Steele and Julie Christie, to John Schlesinger, Ken Loach and John Boorman. Stephen will give an overview of this man’s amazing career, including a talk with Nat’s granddaughter Caroline Stephenson.
