Wollongong's Nasty Insects erupt from the heaving hive with “Bite 'Til They Bleed”,
eight infecting tracks of electro-industrial fused, venom-dripping thrash metal.
Formed in early 2024, the four-piece quickly carved out a reputation for unleashing
high-octane, synth-laced chaos across venues throughout the Illawarra and the
East Coast. A tour across the ditch in New Zealand sharpened their attack and
fuelled the creative mutation that would become the electrifying aural assault
captured on their debut.
“Bite 'Til They Bleed” swarms the senses with a manic collision of razor-wire 80s
thrash and abrasive electronics, sounding like the unholy offspring of Metallica,
Power Trip, The Prodigy and Underworld. Every riff lunges forward with stinging
intent while mechanical rhythms grind against frantic guitars, creating a soundtrack
that feels equal parts warehouse rave, industrial nightmare and violent mosh pit.
Launching the album at La La La’s on September 18th with a free event, Nasty
Insects will be joined by the one-man industrial madness of Cheap Cofffins, Post-
Hardcore legends Lotta Rail and the return of the death metal destruction of
Pestilent Doom.
