When your day goes from bad to worse, the only thing left to do is strap on a unicorn horn and play pass the f**king parcel. Fairy Sprinkles may be the kids’ party entertainer of your dreams, but she is one bad fairy.
PARTY GIRL is a rock n’ roll monologue, created and performed by Lucy Heffernan and produced by Purple Tape Productions, where the glitzy hell of a kid’s birthday party explodes out on stage to challenge traditional feminine behaviour. A story about love and faith, PARTY GIRL is an intimate, funny, brutal, and deeply moving work that speaks (and sings) directly to the audience.
Recommended for ages 16+. Contains mature themes and coarse language.

Lucy Heffernan is an artist working on Gadigal and Dharawal land. She has performed PARTY GIRL on stages around the world, from humble beginnings with MERRIGONGX in 2019 to multiple award-winning appearances at the Adelaide Fringe and a 2024 trip all the way to Edinburgh (and boy are her wings tired!). Up next is the TAHI Festival of Solo Performance in Wellington, Aotearoa.
For the first time since its debut, PARTY GIRL returns to the Illawarra for one night only.
