The Jones Mansion is pleased to welcome Chef Blake Krehbiel back for another amazing Nashville culinary experience. Join us in the mansion on Friday, March 27 from 7-9 p.m., where Chef Blake will present a night of Nashville Charm. " I am coming back for a third year in a row, and I have never been so excited about an event before. Over the last two years, I have worked to incorporate my hometown of Nashville, TN into the dinners I have been blessed to prepare at the Jones Mansion. The first year, I brought familiar Nashville dishes and flavors, the next , I introduced everyone to important characters that lead me in my journey to become a chef. This year, I let the city itself inspire my menu. Each plate of this six-course is meant to represent an important historical landmark of the city. Course One : Broadway ( Beer Cheese Potato AuGratin, Smoke Cured Bacon Lardons, Herb Crema, Fried Scallions )
Course Two : The Factory in Franklin ( Truffled Cauliflower Tart, Fried Sugar Peas, Browned Butter Almonds,Truffle Spinach Puree )
Course Three : Belmont Mansion ( Spinach Chittara, Caramalized Onion Mornay, Black Pepper Boursin Smear, Parmesan Tuille, Spiced Breadcrumbs )
Jones Mansion : Rosemary/Lemon Martini cocktail tasting
Course Four : Centennial Park (Thin Sliced Lamb Bacon, Whipped Feta, Balsamic Tomatoes, Olive Oil Dressed Frisee, Sourdough Pita)
Course Five : The Bell Witch Cave ( Smoked Lengua Stuffed Marrow Bones, Blood Orange and Cherry Glaze, Bone Marrow Gravel, Vegetable Ash
Jones Mansion : Classic Elijah's Old Fashioned cocktail tasting
Course Six : Opryland Hotel ( Mint and Matcha Cheesecake, Burnt Sugar Topping, Confit Strawberries, Edible Flowers )
Chef Blake works at the Harpeth Hotel in Franklin, TN and now owns a catering business called Scratch Food and Beverage Company.
