Details: The Shadowing Program is a one-day event hosted by NASA Glenn that is designed to allow high school students to explore career opportunities in STEM as well as business. The event features NASA Scientists and Engineers working in STEM fields at NASA Glenn, engaging STEM activities, and tours of NASA Glenn’s facilities.
Shadowing students are matched with a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who works in a field related to the student’s career interests. These experts are seasoned professionals with firsthand experience in various STEM disciplines. The matching process ensures that students get personalized insights into their chosen career paths. Whether it’s aerospace engineering, computer science, or any other STEM field, the SME provides valuable guidance and insight into their day-to-day work.
