FREE Artemis II Launch Viewing Event, Presented by Clear Creek ISD
As humanity returns to the Moon, be a part of history and watch the exciting countdown and liftoff of NASA's Artemis II mission. CCISD's Challenger Columbia Stadium is a host site for the community to gather to cheer on the Artemis II Crew and celebrate NASA's achievement in human spaceflight AND our nation's first return to the Moon in more than 50 years.
Gates Open: 6:30 p.m.
Liftoff: Scheduled for 7:29 p.m. CT*
- Have your digital or printed tickets ready at the gate
- Park on stadium Home side parking lots
- Wear your NASA/Space Gear!
- Fans may watch the action from the Home side stands OR on the football field. Please bring folding chairs or blankets if you plan to watch from the field.
- Light concessions will be available for purchase
This FREE ticketed event includes:
- A live broadcast viewing of the Artemis II launch countdown and liftoff on the stadium's state-of-the-art videoboard.
- Activities include photo opportunity, selfie station, coloring and poster making stations, and more.
- Exhibits including models of Space Launch System (SLS) and Orion spacecraft, and space items.
*This event is aligned with NASA's launch schedule and is subject to change. In the event that the launch is postponed, Clear Creek ISD will broadcast information on a possible rescheduled launch event.
