Step aboard for a Narrowboat Canal Experience – part of our Summer Friendship Calendar!

Join us for a peaceful cruise along the canal and experience life at a slower pace. This relaxing taster session is a great way to enjoy the outdoors, connect with others and try something a bit different this summer.

Just bring along your lunch or a picnic. Then sit back, take in the scenery and enjoy good conversation. It’s all about enjoying the moment and meeting new people in a calm, welcoming setting. Fully qualified skippers with first aid training will be on board.

The trip will depart from Canalhouse, 48-52 Canal St, NG1 7EH and all you need to bring is weather-appropriate clothing and a sense of adventure. Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure a prompt start.

Exclusively for Rushcliffe 18 + residents registered with a Rushcliffe GP.

Only one booking is permitted per person. Additional bookings may be cancelled to ensure fairness.

There is a small cost to attend, which covers the session on a per person basis. This is offered at a discounted rate through social prescribing, helping to keep the sessions as accessible as possible.

We want our sessions to be accessible to everyone. If cost is a barrier, please get in touch - we’re happy to support you to attend.
