NAREB Dallas October Meeting: Real Estate Meets Politics
About this Event
REAL ESTATE MEETS POLITICS
Working Together in the Political World
What happens in real estate is shaped by more than interest rates, inventory, and the market.
It is also shaped by policy, legislation, representation, advocacy, and relationships.
NAREB Dallas invites you to an important conversation bringing together leaders from real estate, lending, government, and community advocacy to discuss how we can work together to strengthen our communities and protect the future of homeownership.
This isn't about telling you who to vote for.
It's about understanding why your voice, your profession, and your presence matter.
Decisions made at City Hall, in Austin, and in Washington can ultimately affect property ownership, housing affordability, lending, development, taxation, community investment, and the families we serve.
If we want to advocate for Democracy in Housing, we must understand the policies and decisions that affect housing.
THE CONVERSATION
We’ll explore public policy and housing impact, advocacy and representation, economic growth and investment, and collaboration between real estate professionals, elected officials, lenders, and community leaders.
Most importantly, we'll discuss what it means for real estate professionals to become more informed, engaged, and intentional about having a voice in the political process.
You don't have to be a politician to understand the political work.
You just need to understand that the work affects the people and communities you serve.
