NAPHA Informal Meet-Up: Knoebels Amusement Resort Day! 100th Anniversary

Come join the National Amusement Park Historical Association (NAPHA) for a centennial celebration at Knoebels! This traditional family-operated park first opened on July 4th, 1926. 100-years to the day on July 4th, 2026, NAPHA will help commemorate this milestone by attending a plaque ceremony, featuring NAPHA historian and author of Images of America: Knoebels Jim Futrell. Following the ceremony, the park opens to the public where all attendees are welcome to stay together and enjoy everything Knoebels has to offer on “Knoebels Amusement Resort Day”, a day recently commemorated by the state of Pennsylvania!
Schedule for Sat. July 4th, 2026:
10:00 a.m.: Ceremony at Bandshell (across from Bumper Cars)
*Group photo will take place at Bandshell after the ceremony
12:00 p.m.: Knoebels opens

No registration required! If you are planning on coming, please mark as "Going" on Facebook Events. Everyone is responsible for buying ride tickets. No ride all day passes will be sold on this day.
This informal meet-up is open to all NAPHA members, family, friends, and anyone who is interested in joining in on a fun time.
