Nancy Zhou violin + Weicong Zhang piano at NEC’s Jordan Hall, Sat. 03/01

On Saturday March 1st, 2025, 8 pm, violinist Nancy Zhou, and pianist Weicong Zhang, will perform violin sonatas by Stravinsky, Respighi, Pärt, and Franck at NEC’s Jordan Hall.

Violinist Nancy Zhou was the winner of the 2018 Shanghai Isaac Stern Violin Competition. She studied with Miriam Fried at NEC while pursuing her BA degree in literature at Harvard. Since 2019, she is an Associated Artist of the Queen Elisabeth Chapel and is a violin faculty at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music since 2023.

Pianist Weicong Zhang received both her MM and DMA degrees in collaborative piano from Manhattan School of Music. She taught piano and chamber music at the Shanghai Conservatory and currently she is teaching chamber music at Tianjin Juilliard School Precollege.
