About this Event
NAMI Metro is excited to host our upcoming Outreach Workshop for volunteers, designed to equip YOU with the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to support people living with mental health conditions and their families in the community.
NAMI Metro volunteers are at the core of the free mental health support, education, and advocacy services we provide.
Outreach volunteers show up at local resource fairs, festivals, and various events throughout the community. Through this training, you will gain a deeper understanding of mental health education and learn how to effectively share NAMI’s mission and resources with diverse audiences.
The workshop also provides valuable networking opportunities, allowing you to connect with fellow volunteers, staff, and local advocates who are passionate about mental health awareness and uplifting the community at large.
Whether you’re new to outreach or looking to grow your impact, this training will support your development as a community leader and prepare you to represent NAMI Metro with confidence and compassion.
This interactive training will help you sharpen your social and communication skills, build meaningful relationships with community partners, and strengthen your ability to foster genuine community connections.
