I am keen to hear from buskers looking for their first gig and theatre performance artists interested in working towards the success of hopefully an annual event growing in size every year.
The festival is not only geared towards children, but anyone of any age - adults like puppets too🌞
I am running two workshops:
Suitcase Theatre, Nambour, September
Shadow Puppets and Crankies, Bribie Island, October, to prepare any non-puppeteer, would-be performers for the festival, please contact me for information.
Furthermore, if you manage an organisation I would be keen to prepare a small group of any age to produce a well rehearsed festival performance.
More details are available from Monday 8th July to interested performance parties.
I will be running several workshops on the two festival days, and performing....I would like all workshops and performances to be affordable for all in the community, voluntary work is encouraged and preferred but monetary payment is available via box office sales for professional performers.
I am organizing this to bring more puppetry into the community as
I know that this type of festival can be huge fun wonderfully entertaining and educational for everyone in the community so please apply to assist in, or manage, a puppetmaking workshop or perform or assist in other ways.
