A new wave extravaganza is coming to the Presynct in Nambour with XACTO (Australia’s finest XTC Tribute Band) and the electrifying Crack That Whip – The Devo Tribute Show.Subatomic Cookie Bandits will open the show with their eclectic mix of rock, pop, punk and blues, with a dash of psychedelia and sci-fi.
XACTO are one of Canberra’s most highly sought after tribute bands, performing a range of songs from XTC, one of the most influential British bands of the punk/new wave era. They are venturing to the Sunshine Coast to get your Senses Working Overtime playing that classic track and other XTC staples such as Making Plans for Nigel and Generals and Majors.
Crack That Whip will don their energy domes to perform all the Devo classics in authentic devolved style, including Whip It, Girl U Want and Beautiful World. Select deep cuts are also performed to give the punters the ultimate display of de-evolution.
Prepare to be whipped into shape!
