Namaste & Play - Lilies (10 - 18 months-ish)

Mr. Evan and Ms. Eileen are bringing a whole new program to our community, Namaste & Play, and they couldn't be more excited to share it!! Together, they have over 50 years of experience teaching movement and motor skill development to children ages 6 months through 12 years using sports, dance, gymnastics and yoga.

Namaste & Play is a Mini and Me yoga and movement class in a fun AND relaxing environment for any adult and child to share on the mat. We combine movement, music, stories, games, and traditional yoga poses (Asana) to improve flexibilty, strength, and balance while strengthening the connection between you and your mini(s). We focus on both getting bodies moving and slowing minds down in a joyful, supportive environment.

Our "just-mobile" Lilies (10 - 18 months-ish), will have opportunities to better control their bodies and thier movements, further gain flexibilty, boost physical and emotional development, and learn balance, while having a ton of fun with their adult. for the adult, yoga has been proven to decrease stress an help with emtional regulation post partem.

We are very excited to have partnered with St. John's Lutheran Church on Centre Street in Bellmore. Located in a quiet community, St. JLC has ample parking on the local street and a roll-up stroller/wagon accessible entrance and rest rooms. It is the perfect clean, calm, and very "happy to host us" environment.

We suggest you bring YOGA MATS for You and your Mini (we will have some just in case). WATER BOTTLES and favorite STUFFIES/BLANKIES for Savasana (meditation). For safety, we also suggest BARE FEET or GRIPPY SOCKS for when we are off of our mats. Please note, all classes are 45 MINUTES (eventbrite doesn't offer that duration).
