Naked Gardening Day Celebration

Come join us for a day of fun in the sun at our Naked Gardening Day Celebration! Get back to nature and celebrate the beauty of gardening in your most natural state. The event will be held on a private property in Atascadero. Mark your calendars and get ready to dig in! Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just looking to try something new, this event is perfect for all levels of experience. Naked Gardening Day is an event celebrated on the first Saturday of May every year. Gardeners get together to tend to plants and flowers, wearing no clothes or shoes. This way, they’re able to connect to the origins of gardening and our natural relationship with Mother Nature.
This event is open to women aged 35+ (some exceptions may be granted with prior approval) that are naturalists, nudists, gardeners who just want to connect with nature, and/or people who just want to step out of their comfort zone!
Participants are encouraged to bring their own gardening supplies (hat, gloves, spade, toolbelt, knee cushion, etc.), sunscreen, sunglasses, a reusable water bottle to cut down on waste, and a bag or other compartment to store their belongings (clothes/shoes/purse, etc.).
GARDENING ACTIVITIES:
-W**d pulling
-Herb Harvesting / Make Your Own Smudge Stick
-Succulent Potting
-Group Photo (naughty bits covered by gardening materials)
All activities are optional and can be done at any time between 12-3pm. Attendees are welcome to use this time to enjoy nature and companionship. They can do more grounding, hug trees, relax in the swing or hammock, play games, build a fire, soak in the hot tub*, and/or sit in the numerous seating areas to socialize with other like-minded individuals.
RULES:
-Body Positivity is Required: Attendees are not allowed to make any negative comments about their own body or that of the other attendees.
-Drink Responsibly: If the hosts feel you have imbibed too much you will be asked to leave and an uber will be called for you if you can't produce a safe ride.
-Nudity DOES NOT imply consent: Attendees are required to ask and receive permission before touching another attendee (this includes hugs).
-No glass on the premises. Reusable water bottles must be aluminum or plastic.
-NO PHOTOS OR VIDEOS ALLOWED other than group photo.
