Join us for our 3rd annual community gathering honoring Nakba Day to remember the 750,000+ Palestinians who were forcibly displaced from their homes and lands. All are welcome to join us!We will hear Palestinian stories and learn about the ongoing struggle for return, freedom, and dignity. We will have a key-making station for the kids!
As part of the gathering, everyone will have the opportunity to plant sage to take home, along with a recipe for Palestinian sage tea.
Vegetarian food will be provided by Maryam’s Grill.
We will be raising funds for BADIL Resource Center for Palestinian Residency and Refugee Rights, an organization that works with Palestinian refugees and advocates for the right of return.
