Nakba Commemoration 2026

On Friday, 15 May, we will gather at the Dominicus in Amsterdam to commemorate the Nakba together. We will commemorate the Nakba while also honor the richness of Palestinian history, culture and collective life. The evening is intended as a space for mourning, connection and moral clarity.

The program will include speeches, poetry, music, visual art and commemorative rituals. Through this gathering, we seek not only to remember loss, but also to affirm Palestinian presence, dignity and resilience.

The event invites attendees to reflect on history, responsibility and the urgency of justice in the present. The full program is currently being finalized and will continue to take shape in the lead-up to 15 May.
