It's that time of year again - when things start heating up out at the old dirt farm.. If you're ready to answer the call, join us out at NaCl Comic Con this June 12th & 13th for your chance to bust some heads - in a spiritual sense, of course. What can visitors expect?
- Our Ectobooth: a green screen photo booth where fans can put on some Ghostbusters gear, have their photo taken and then we'll drop them into an iconic Ghostbusters movie scene (we've got options from each movie - yes, even that one!)
- Ghostbusters 101: our fully experimental (and mostly safe) training game, putting you in control of our new test proton pack and giving you the chance to lasso a few rogue mini pufts and goblins and put them back into our mega trap *We'll have free safety glasses for our ghost wrangling rookies and future STEM professionals, while supplies last!
- Prize Wheel: Slime samples, plushies, 3D prizes and snacks; we'll have a variety of fun prizes available for donors and supporters of our mission (we do these events to help raise money for the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Kansas & Missouri)
- Hands-on Demos & an Immersive Display Experience: if you've ever wanted to handle and see how movie quality Ghostbusters props work, we'll have a variety of equipment from the movies on site and will help you try them out and see them in action - and we'll also have a variety of spooks and goblins from the movies available for photos.. and some of them may even interact with you!
- Convention Giveaway: we try to offer up a prize for our donors and supporters after each convention we attend. We've got a few cool options to offer at NaCl and to get entered all you'll have to do is make a donation and then snag a ticket from one of our members at the booth. After the convention is over, we'll draw from our tickets and announce our winner!
*We encourage photography and video at our booth, so please, please, PLEASE feel free to photograph and record anything you see to share it with your friends and family. Also, ask us questions! If you're curious about the items we have or are interested in learning how to make your own or get involved - just ask! :)
