"Celebrating Excellence, Empowering the Future"
Join us as we celebrate Black Excellence and progress while also highlighting the importance of education and empowerment for the future generations.
Our keynote speaker and special honoree for the gala will be none other than Dr. Opal Lee, the grandmother of the Juneteenth movement!
This historic occasion marks the first time Dr. Lee will be in New Jersey to receive an honor for the holiday she tirelessly fought to have recognized. Her presence promises to be inspiring and compelling, reminding us of the importance of our continued efforts in the fight for equality and justice.
The gala will be held at the Edison Job Corps, located at 500 Plainfield Avenue, Edison, NJ 08817, on Friday June 7th, from 6:30PM to 11PM.
The evening will feature a program that includes inspiring speakers, performances, and the presentation of awards to groups and individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to civil rights and social justice.
