NAACP Back 2 School Rally

The NAACP is excited about the Annual Back to School Rally on Saturday, August 1 at Douse Community Center in Killeen.  As in previous years, we are expecting a huge crowd!  This event will motivate and inspire our youth for their academic success!!

Keeping with the theme of Building Our Beloved Community, the NAACP will be partnering with multiple organizations and entities to provide backpacks and school supplies to students attending Killeen ISD or Copperas Cove ISD for the 26-27 academic school year.

Other activities will include:

• The Pep Rally, with the fan tunnel!
• Backpacks to give-away!  Please note: Killeen ISD has mandated clear or mesh backpacks for all campuses.  
• School supplies!
• Food!
• Vendors!
• Music!
• And, FUN!!

So, come on out for the Back 2 School Rally! All are welcome and it's free!

*We ask that children accompany the parent/guardian in order to receive a backpack.
