N4 - 20 - 23 March 2026 - Exclusive First teams coaching/tournament with umpires course and grading for Level 3 Cost: R 4 250 per person
Space for 10 teams which consists of 12 people. (See accommodation rules)
Arrival: Friday, 20 March) at 13:00 to start @14:00
Departure: Monday, 23 March - Course ends @ 11:00. You will be allowed to stay longer to enjoy the Valley of the Waves some more.
Format:
Aspects to be covered
Attacking and defensive skills
Specialization: Individual and combination
Circle play - attack and defense
Center passes - attack and defense
Throw in - attack and defense
Instructional play
Matches each day: Gradings for umpires attending the level 3 umpires course will be done on these matches.
For Umpires:
6 hours of theory - rule discussions
Level 3 exams only
Grading on level 3 on the matches during the weekend
Coaches that are part of the teams may also enroll for the umpires course and to be graded.
Any individual umpire (without your teams), may also enroll for this course.
NOTE: A more detailed program will be handed out before the course. Number of teams and age groups are taken into consideration with each course and might differ from one course to the next.
Fees include:
A tournament gift
Accommodation in the Sun Vacation Club at Sun City - see accommodation rules.
All meals except for one dinner, which will be for your own account.
Permanent access to the “Valley of Waves”.
Specialized coaching by Dorette Badenhorst and her team of experienced and well-trained coaches.
