Música y Más is a time to gather in friendship, celebrate Latin culture and language, and support meaningful work for children and community.
Join us for a joyful evening of music, culture, games, and community as we celebrate Latin culture and Language.
All ages are welcome.
Come enjoy: Live Music, Games in Spanish, a Latina Tiendita (little market), a silent auction, and dancing.
Música y Más gathering Featuring:
- Juegos - Games in, or to practice Spanish
- Music by: Maestra Noella y amigos (MediXina Band {Shaela Noella, Alec La Roche, Mark Dyken & guests},The Intuitive Choir and other Special Guests TBA)
- La Tienda Latina – a small marketplace with handmade from Latin America
- Silent Auction – supporting the Hermanas Del Viento fundraising efforts with special handmade clothes from Guatemala and beautiful experiences.
- Salsa Dance + Latin Dance Party
This is a combined fundraiser for Sierra Waldorf School and Sister Winds Foundation (Hermanas del Viento), supporting the Latin America Children’s Initiative. Sister Winds Foundation’s current goals are to raise funds for a continued scouting research project; the stepping stones for a long term vision for an eco-village, that supports children in need, aka orphanage, in Ecuador. The more immediate project associated with this nonprofit is a children's home and project in Guatemala called Camino Canicas.

5:50–6:00 PM — Announcements & Silent Auction Introduction
6:00–7:00 PM — Live Music : MediXina Band, (@Shaela Noella , @Alec La Roche, @Mark Dyken and special Guests)
7:00–7:30 PM — Salsa Dancing
7:30 PM — Silent Auction Closes & Winners Announced
7:30–8:00* PM — Variety of Latin Music & Dance Celebration
*if people are enjoying themselves dancing we may keep the music going 8:30 or 9:00pm
