Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert on the first Wednesday morning of each month at 11am at The David Hall: informal music events with a pop-up café half an hour open before the concert where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, and enjoy live music.This month’s programme is inspired by spirits and creatures of legend, including a mermaid, a water sprite, elves, a Greek God and a ghost. Music by Handel, Gershwin, Henriette Renié, Rebecca Clarke and William Bolcom.
Concerts last c45m. Entrance - or rather exit! - is by donation, with a retiring collection. An RSVP via our website is much appreciated but not essential. Turn up early to be sure of a table and best choice of cakes as these events are popular.
