About this Event
Get your tickets now! The ball could sell out early, since about half our seats already are sold. There still are great seats, however, including some on the center aisle and two fabulous VIP balconies.
Join The Mystic Krewe of Apollo de New Orleans as we present our 22nd Bal Masque, "Apollo Treks Across America," January 18, 2025, at the historic Carver Theater in New Orleans.
With an exciting venue and a growing Krewe, our ball promises to be fun for everyone as we present costumes inspired by U.S. landmarks across the country -- all with a distinctive Apollo twist. From New York to San Francisco and Los Angeles, be prepared for everything from Tornado Alley to Chicago and the Georgia Peach to Idaho Potatoes, with Old Man River, Muskogee, Miami, the Colorado Rockies, and more sprinkled in along the way, There even will be a few Rest Stops, so you just don't know what's in store for you as you join us on our journey.
Honoring our reigning King and Queen Apollo New Orleans XXI Dale Bowling and Sheeya Mann, and presenting King and Queen Apollo New Orleans XXII Jake Stout and Gia GiaVanni, this is an event you don't want to miss!
We look forward to having you join us for an evening of food, fun and friends.

COVID SAFETY: Although there have been no restrictions related to Covid safety on gatherings for quite some time, we will follow any and all city or state requirements in place at the time of the ball. We certainly welcome any of our guests who desire to do so to wear a mask, and we ask that anyone exhibiting signs of illness be considerate of others and mask up or stay home. While we believe those precautions should help all of us to have a happy and healthy Mardi Gras season, our venue has required that we inform all guests of the potential of contracting diseases such as Covid-19, the flu, etc. from participating in events such as our ball.
From the venue: "There are certain inherent risks associated with participating in congregate activities which cannot be eliminated..." Therefore, by purchasing a ticket and attending this event, all guests and members of the Krewe agree to "knowingly and freely assume all risks related to participation in a congregate activity and understand that attendance at such an activity increases the risks of being exposed to and/or contracting Covid-19" or other diseases such as the flu.
