Myrtle Beach Green Drinks is a monthly happy hour series hosted by local organizations who are providing solutions to environmental concerns. Enjoy some socialization, education, and networking.
April's host is the Chirping Birds Society. The Chirping Birds are men, women, and children who are willing to speak out about the devastating effects of plastic or any other issue close to their hearts. Throughout our local Grand Strand communities, they have been working hard to eliminate single-use plastics from our stores and restaurants, demonstrating the need for clean and healthy environments, and educating people on other sustainable options. They are currently involved in Our Marsh Counts, a collaborative, 3-year project that provides resources and uses citizen science and education to improve the health of the Murrells Inlet estuary. Come learn how you can get involved and help out.
Bring your friends, learn about local issues, and find out how you can be a part of the solution. This event is FREE and open to the public so bring your friends and family! We look forward to meeting you!
