The MyRide Mount Maunganui Time Trial Series is back for another season! Four chances to test yourself against the clock, chase a PB and enjoy some friendly racing on the rolling roads of Maketu.
🚴 WHAT
Bike Time Trial Race
A non-drafting race with riders starting at 30-second intervals. Fastest rider starts last!
📏 DISTANCE
15km
A 1 & a bit lap course on the rolling roads of Maketu.
📍 MEETING PLACE
Wetland Carpark
Corner of Kaituna & Pah Roads.
⚠️ Important: The meeting point is NOT the start line. There is approximately a 5km ride to the start line, so please arrive early enough to register and ride to the start by 6:30pm.
📅 WHEN
Race 1: Wednesday 21 October 2026
Race 2: Wednesday 25 November 2026
Race 3: Wednesday 13 January 2027
Race 4: Wednesday 3 February 2027
⏱ First rider starts at 6:30pm.
💰 COST
FREE for Triathlon Tauranga members
$5 for non-members
Please bring cash on the day, as there are no electronic payment facilities or ATMs nearby.

Everyone!
You don't need a fancy time trial bike. Bring whatever bike you've got and give it a go.
The series is all about the have-a-go philosophy and challenging yourself against the clock. No drafting, no hiding in the bunch, just you, your bike and 15km of road.
🏆 AND THERE'S A TROPHY!
Across the four races, we'll crown our MyRide TT Series winner, with a fancy trophy presented at the Triathlon Tauranga Club Awards Night.
Plus, there'll be spot prizes at each race thanks to MyRide Mount Maunganui.
Whether you're chasing a PB, sharpening up for the triathlon season or just fancy seeing what you've got, come along and have a crack.
