About this Event
About the Series
Shortly after the Museum opened in the current building, it was discovered that the expansive galleries were glorious for chamber music. Subsequently, the Museum Concert Series was born, and musicians from around the world were invited to perform against the backdrop of contemporary art. This Sunday afternoon tradition has continued for over thirty years and with the support of the community will thrive for generations to come.
Beo String Quartet
November 17, 2024
Founded in 2015 by musicians from Devils Lake, ND, Beo Quartet has created a niche for itself as a daring, genre-defying ensemble whose performances have been compared to those of the best among 21st century international string quartets.
A hip, full-immersion quartet capable of far-reaching achievements...compelling, thought-provoking, and musically satisfying ...BEO is absolute purity of intonation...and that supernatural ‘one-ness’ of interpretive intent that animates the best quartets. —Fanfare Magazine

Celebrated for her unbelievably beautiful musicianship (Classical FM) prodigy harpist Alisa Sadikova has established a reputation as a celebrated soloist, winning many international competitions and performing at concert halls around the globe, including Carnegie Hall and the Vienna State Opera. An artist of strikingly original ideas and irrefutable integrity, (Washington Post) pianist Simone Dinnerstein has established an international career performing recitals at Wigmore Hall to the Kennedy Center.
Violinist, Rebecca Fischer is a highly expressive, intuitive performer who has been praised for her beautiful tone and nuanced phrasing (Boston Musical Intelligencer). She is well known to local audiences from performances as first violinist with the Chiara String Quartet.
Both performers are known for their innovative work with new composers. They have been collaborating ever since their meeting at Tanglewood several years ago and as members of Ensemble Baroklyn.
Jason Vieux, guitar
April 13, 2025
Grammy-winner Jason Vieaux, among the elite of today’s classical guitarists (Gramophone), is described by NPR as perhaps the most precise and soulful classical guitarist of his generation. In appearances at Lincoln Center to the Seoul Arts Center, Jason Vieaux has cemented his reputation as an artist of uncompromised mastery.
...one of America’s premier guitarists ...Vieaux’s performance spun magic. Rarely has a single instrument so clearly painted such cinematic vistas and searching introspection. —Fort-Worth Star-Telegram
