Experience your body from a fresh, insightful perspective!
People who suffer from back pain often also experience neck discomfort, are prone to headaches, and have tension in the legs. Many women experience back pain after cesarean section, even long after their wounds have healed. Understanding fascia helps us understand our bodies more holistically. Our head and neck are not separate from our waist; our abdominal muscles are closely connected to our back and waist. Fascia is a connective tissue composed of collagen fibers (among others) that connects all parts of our body into a functional whole. Caring for and nourishing fascia is key to a comfortable, more flexible, and pain-free body.
This immersive workshop integrates two powerful connective tissue (fascia) techniques: Myofascial Release (MFR) and Yin Yoga. By combining targeted triger point release with slow, contemplative poses you will learn to nourish the fascia system and tap into your body's natural healing potential. This practice is designed to alleviate pain, improve fluidity of movement, and deepen your understanding of functional anatomy and energy pathways. This workshop is designed for Yoga practitioners and non-practitioners, as well as general fitness enthusiasts.
