Calling all fun-guys and fun-gals! Friends of Creamer's Field presents Mycorrhizal Mysteries, our FREE Creepy Critters event, on October 17th from 12pm-4pm in the Farmhouse Visitor Center!
We all know and love the mushrooms that pop up on the forest floor in autumn, but dare to dig deeper and you'll find that there's a whole world of mycorrhizal mysteries hiding underneath. Come learn about the wide variety of fungi that call Alaska home, and the incredible mycorrhizae that make these familiar fruiting bodies possible.
Join us at the Farmhouse Visitor Center on October 17 for an afternoon of crafts, treats, activities, and of course, some frightening fungi facts!
