"Every woman carries within herself her own song – sometimes joyful, sometimes filled with pain, but always true."My Piaf is a moving musical monodrama inspired by the life and artistry of Édith Piaf, transporting the audience into a world of emotion, passion, and feminine strength. It tells the stories of women – their loves, disappointments, hopes, and dreams – stories that, though rooted in different times and places, remain universal and timeless.
The leading role is performed by Paulina Czechanowska, a talented actress from Bristol (UK), who embodies a woman engaged in an inner dialogue with the legendary Piaf. Interweaving her own memories and experiences with those of the French singer, the heroine discovers that Piaf’s songs reflect the life of every woman – full of highs and lows, yet always carrying hope.
The performance blends dramatic monologue with unforgettable songs by Piaf, such as “La Vie en Rose,” “Non, je ne regrette rien,” and “Milord”, presented in unique arrangements. Music and words intertwine to create an intimate atmosphere in which the audience can find a fragment of their own story.
