About this Event
The Mama Joe Project is a national initiative to reduce disparity around health and caregiving for elders with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. Centered on the documentary film My Mama Joe, Hope & Help, the event also includes a post-film talkback with local experts, and distribution of materials from area agencies. This showing will offer a dementia friendly experience, with caregivers having the option to watch the film with their care partner in the main auditorium...or check their loved one into the adjacent auditorium for a two-hour break. Staff from Memory Care Home Solutions will be providing support in both auditoriums. This is a free event and appropriate for all ages and audiences.
