MY LIFE. MY VOICE. Youth Against Suicide Summit
About this Event
MY LIFE. MY VOICE. A Three-Night Youth Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Summit
Our kids are talking.
The question is...Are we listening?
Across our communities, more young people are struggling with anxiety, depression, loneliness, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts than ever before. At the same time, parents, educators, pastors, coaches, and mentors are asking the same question:
"How do I help?"
My Life. My Voice. was created to answer that question.
This isn't just a summit. It's the launch of a community movement committed to helping young people feel seen, heard, supported, and valued while equipping the adults who love them with practical tools to respond with confidence and compassion. Through honest conversations, expert guidance, healing-centered experiences, and meaningful community partnerships, we're creating space for hope, connection, and healing.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND? • Middle & High School Students • Parents & Caregivers • Educators & School Staff • Mental Health Professionals • Youth Pastors & Ministry Leaders • Coaches & Mentors • Community Leaders • Anyone who believes our young people deserve to know they are not alone.
WHY MY LIFE. MY VOICE.? This summit was born from both lived experience and years spent serving young people. As someone who survived suicidal ideation and self-harm at a young age, I understand what it feels like to suffer in silence. As a teacher, instructional leader, and teacher trainer working alongside educators across the country, I've witnessed firsthand the growing mental health crisis impacting our youth—and the heartbreak of parents and educators who desperately want to help but don't always know how. I believe no family should have to navigate these challenges alone. I believe our schools, churches, nonprofits, healthcare providers, and community organizations are stronger when we work together. Most of all, I believe we have the power to reclaim hope, restore connection, and help our young people remember that their lives have value, purpose, and immeasurable worth. Because every life matters. Every voice matters. And together, we can help change the story.
