Sawd's Village Inn (also known as the Village Inn) is a local, family-owned restaurant located in Grass Lake, Michigan. Reopened in 2022 by Missy Shelhart, the restaurant honors her uncle Duane Sawdy, who owned the establishment decades ago. It is known for its Western-themed decor, casual atmosphere, and again, notably large portion sizes.
Josh Johnston’s music is founded from his past. Born into Gospel and country music, December 3, 1984. His mom and dad both sang and his father was very musically inclined. Josh fell in love with the country sound at a very young age. At ten years old he found interest in the acoustic guitar. By the age of 16, he was playing piano. And he ventured off to the east side of Tennessee, where he spent 14 years of his life. His passion for country music grew into the 90’s genre as time went on. And began to play Small gigs by the age of 17. Thirty years into music, this Nashville recording artist released his first single “Alone Tonight” February 14th 2025 Smith Curry was the principal producer. The shows continue and Josh is still writing to this day.
