My First 1000 Days –Connecting with Your Baby

Join us for a relaxed, friendly free session designed for parents and carers of babies aged 0-12 months.
You’ll meet other families, enjoy a meal together, and take part in short, practical sessions led by trained family wellbeing workers.

This event focuses on two key topics from our My First 1000 Days programme:

Face to Face with My Brilliant Baby

• Bonding activities

• Visual Development

• Role‑modelling with mirrors

Communication with Baby

• Talking, singing, reading, and showing empathy

• Songs and rhymes across cultures

• Signposting to local libraries

This session is part of our My First 1000 Days series. Each event is a one‑off — come to as many as you like.

About the research

These sessions are part of the My First 1000 Days study run by the University of Leeds.

When you register, you’ll receive:

• You will then be contacted by a Family Wellbeing Worker to chat about the session, eligibility and any needs you might have and any questions.

You’ll be invited to sign the consent form when you arrive.
Taking part in the research (sharing your feedback at the end) is completely voluntary.

Whether or not you choose to share feedback, you can:

✅ Receive your baby’s gift

Your choice will not affect what you receive or how you’re treated in any way.
