Happy New Year! And what a great start it’ll be for us at the lovely Royal Cinema, where we’ll be showing ‘My Favourite Cake’ on Monday 13 January at 7.45pm.It’s an Iranian film, a bittersweet romance in which a 70-year old widow breaks with her lonely routine, looking for love despite the social, cultural and political barriers in her way.
