About this Event
Rodney Pindai, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals, recently recognised as ‘Trust of the Year’. He oversees a complex portfolio spanning multi‑million‑pound budgets, major capital developments, and the financial stewardship of services that support hundreds of thousands of patients each year and he is a proud CIMA accountant.
Rodney began his professional journey with a strong grounding in management accounting and has spent nearly two decades applying those principles to one of the most challenging and scrutinised environments in the UK: the National Health Service while keeping patient care at the heart of every decision.
He is known for his clarity, his collaborative leadership style, and his commitment to developing finance teams who understand both the numbers and the people behind them.
Rodney will be sharing his perspective on the evolving role of finance professionals in the NHS, the importance of commercial thinking in a public‑sector context, and how CIMA’s principles continue to shape his approach to leadership and decision‑making.
