My Broken Doll by Ernie Nolan is a powerful play based on Holocaust survivor Beatrice Karp’s memoir. It tells the story of her childhood during World War II, her separation from family, and her survival in concentration camps. The title symbolizes her lost innocence, and the play highlights resilience, hope, and the enduring human spirit while educating audiences about the importance of remembrance and tolerance. It’s a fantastic opportunity for students to engage with live theatre and connect with its themes in an impactful way.

This performance will be followed by a workshop designed to deepen students' understanding of the themes and provide hands-on learning opportunities in theatre arts. This will be performed by Moorehead University theatre education students.
